EVENT PLANNING covers the basic knowledge and understanding of planning
process. Through this course, students learn to prepare event budgets, set
event objectives and collaborate with business professionals to organize
successful events. The course also looks at the operational planning and
marketing planning as well as managing, implementing and evaluating the event.
Students will also propose and organize an event independently
PROTOCOL AND ETIQUETTE explains the importance of protocol and etiquette
in events. Students learn the protocol requirements in various events such as
seating arrangement, honorifics, speech writing and royal language (Bahasa Istana). This course also
provides information to the students of the do’s and don’ts of attending
MUSLIM FRIENDLY HOSPITALITY PRACTICE course emphasize on specific
services and product which must be taken into consideration and provided by tourism
and hospitality businesses. This course covers the application of Muslim friendly
hospitality services in various service sectors of tourism and hospitality businesses
such as accommodation, foodservice, travel services, recreation, transportation,
entertainment and public places. This course will also study, analyse and identify
creative solution on issues and/or challenges, related to the implementation of Muslim
friendly hospitality services
PRACTICES FOR HALAL FOOD PRODUCTION brings students to experience the best halal
approach in managing foodservice operations guided by various requirements from
several agencies in Malaysia especially the Department of Islamic Development
Malaysia (JAKIM) without neglecting the Islamic Shariah law implementation. The
topic will cover the fundamentals of halal food, important areas for halal
compliance, legitimate ingredients, halal slaughtering practice, requirement
standards to apply and challenges encountered by halal food producers. Students will also be equipped with hands-on
skills through creating awareness programmes, practising sertu and organising
event consist of slaughtering, processing, cooking and serving halal food. The field trip will also enhance student knowledge of the course.
OF FOOD focuses on the understanding of cooking theory and the application of
skills to a wide range of cooking styles and products. Students will be
introduced to the foodservice establishment and organization. Every aspect in
cooking is explained starting from the basic equipment and utensils to cooking
techniques, role of the ingredients used, garnishing and food presentation,
food commodities, salad and salad dressing, stock, sauces, and soup.

It also demonstrates knowledge and understanding of electrical schematic diagram and adheres to all safety procedures, regulations for maintaining and display good practices by considering sustainable energy practices.EPAIR
POWER SYSTEM PROTECTION is aimed to provide students with knowledge and exposure to electrical power equipment protection. The course focuses on the common protection system applied to the power distribution systems, switching equipment, and their operation. This course also introduces the methods of selecting suitable protection equipment based on fault current and apparent power calculations.
A semiconductor is used to manipulate the flow of energy within an electronic setting. Semiconductor devices are the many manipulations of this technology to provide a specific control over the energy. These devices are found in many forms and within many types of electronics. Semiconductor devices are comprised of material that can be manipulated easily to control how power reaches an electronic device. Semiconductors can be altered by using an induction of an electric field, exposure to light, pressure and heat. These devices are comprised of material with holes in it, which are positive, or p-type, and material with extra electrons, which are negative, or n-type.
DIGITAL ELECTRONICS introduces the theories on the basic of digital systems. This course emphasizes on the digital system fundamentals and applications. This course mainly covers number systems, code systems, logic gates, Boolean operations, flip-flops, counters and registers
ELECTRONIC COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN covers the basic
concept and fundamentals of electronic circuit simulation. It also
covers the applications of electronic packages for electronic circuit
simulation at the circuit level and the logic level. Emphasis is given to
the simulation for analogue, digital logic and mixed signal circuits
using various types of simulation analysis. Printed Circuit Board
(PCB) layout is then produced for the circuits. The simulation and the
PCB layout are done using electronic software package such as
Protel / Altium Designer, ORCAD, PSpice, Circuit Maker or
TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK provides students with the basic knowledge of telecommunication network of Next Generation Networks (NGN). This course focuses on NGN architectures, protocols and services, including technologies and regulation. Students are also expose to NGN convergence between the traditional telecommunications and the internet to facilitate voice and data communications.
SIGNAL & SYSTEM provides knowledge on the signals and systems, the Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems, the Laplace transform the z-transform and Fourier analysis. The course focuses on the mathematical description of signals and systems, the input-output relationship for Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) systems, the Laplace transform and z-transform and their application techniques for analyzing the systems and Fourier analysis of signals and systems. In conclusions, this course forms the foundation for further studies in areas such as communication, signal processing and control system.
FIBER OPTIC COMMUNICATION SYSTEM introduces students to the basic concept of fiber optic in communication systems with environmental sustainability. This course covers fiber optic characteristics, components in fiber optic system, losses in fiber optic cable and the fundamental concept of optical measurement. This course also provides knowledge in splicing techniques with safety awareness, multiplexing techniques and design consideration in fiber optic communication link.

MICROWAVE DEVICES introduces the existence, characteristic and the effect of electromagnetic wave to the surrounding. This course also focuses on the devices used in microwave communication system such as waveguide (transmission lines), basic accessories, sources, microwave antennas as well as the techniques of measurement used in microwave system.

While any wireless technology is often referred to as wireless, and most networked ones as simply a network, there are multiple different technologies, protocols, and configurations to be done to properly set up a network at home, or in an office.
Computer Architecture and Organization is the study of internal working, structuring and implementation of a computer system. Architecture in computer system, same as anywhere else, refers to the externally visual attributes of the system. Externally visual attributes, here in computer science, mean the way a system is visible to the logic of programs (not the human eyes!). Organization of computer system is the way of practical implementation which results in realization of architectural specifications of a computer system. In more general language, Architecture of computer system can be considered as a catalog of tools available for any operator using the system, while Organization will be the way the system is structured so that all those cataloged tools can be used, and that in an efficient fashion.

EMBEDDED SYSTEM APPLICATIONS cover the basic concept and application of microcontroller system based on Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC). Student will learn software and hardware development on PIC16F/PIC18F microcontroller development system and understand how to do interfacing with external devices using suitable internal chip features. Students are exposed to the new microcontroller Unit (MCU) simulation software such as Proteus.

Students are exposed to computer system hardware, laptop system, computer peripherals and security. The course focuses on the methods of operation, installation, diagnostic, troubleshooting and maintenance in computer hardware.
An embedded system resides inside the robot tying together the different subsystems. Without an embedded system, robots would need to rely on external computing systems which can increase the safety risks due to delay and failure in the communication link between the robot and its external control system.
INTERNET BASED CONTROLLER provides knowledge and exposure in advanced technology. The course focuses on the basic knowledge of hardware component, wireless communication technologies and wireless sensor network. The course emphasis on the method used to carry out surveying works especially data collection or acquisition to produce plan based on the scope of work. It also gives exposure to the need for accurate data to be used for other surveying work.
